Keegan-Michael Key (born March 22, 1971) is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer. He first gained popularity being part of the cast of Mad TV. He would later team up with his co-star, Jordan Peele, to start another sketch comedy show, Key and Peele. Since then he has starred in several other films and TV shows including Whose Line Is It Anyway?, The Predator, Wonka, Keanu, Playing with Fire, Dolemite is My Name, Reboot, and even voice acting in animated features like The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Wendell & Wild, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Migration, Hotel Transylvania, The LEGO Movie, IF, and Toy Story 4.

He also appeared alongside Bumbleebay himself in a commercial for Paramount+ as Mr. Garvey, a popular recurring character from Key and Peele.<ref>A Mountain of Entertainment | Mr. Garvey's Mountain Survival Skills | Paramount+</ref>

  • The name of the junk statue A-A-Tron that Bumblebee builds and befriends in Transformers One is most likely a reference to the Key and Peele sketch Substitute Teacher in which the titular sub (played by Key) comically mispronounces students' names during roll call, chief among them being "Aaron" as "Ay-ay-ron".
