Lavatron

Lavatron is an Energonicon from the Angry Birds Transformers continuity.

So if you can't fight Walking Mortar Towers with Mortar Towers, use Lavatron as a substitute.

Lavatron can be created at the Pig Lab in Hogs Head Mountain with Materials, though it's a bit of a roulette spin to actually earn it. You may get Coins, Materials, or Gems instead.

In battle, activating Lavatron fires the meteors the Mortar Towers use, which can do massive damage, but interestingly, not against the Mortar Towers themselves. Lavatron's firing time lasts longer the more energon cubes you had stored up.

Notes

• Originally, Lavatron was golden-colored. In the March 2020 mega-update, it was inexplicably changed to a magenta color.
• Numerous Energonicons, Lavatron included, got a bit of a nerfing in late August 2016, as they originally used to prioritize enemies over blocks. Still, given Lavatron's ability to wreak major havoc via explosions, it's not as bad as some others got.
