Lensmeter Decepticons are Decepticons from the Dark of the Moon portion of the live-action film series continuity.

The Lensmeter Decepticons are a group of minuscule Decepticons much like the better-known Scalpel. They primarily serve as medics attempting to repair Megatron after his battle with Optimus.

Dark of the Moon film

To repair the damage he suffered from Optimus Prime in Egypt, Megatron allowed the Lensmeter Decepticons to constantly attend to his head-wound, putting the pieces back together from the inside. Despite the tiny robots' services, Megatron crushed one between his fingers, seemingly out of boredom. In Africa, Lensmeter Decepticons attempted to attack Optimus Prime, Jake and Vanessa but got quickly dispatched. More of them tried to attack Vanessa and Jake in the USA West Coast and Canada. Human Alliance

When the Autobots and their allies traveled to the NEST aircraft carrier near the Pacific Ocean, they were ambushed by Lensmeter drones, who continued to hound them as they submerged to infiltrate the secret underwater Decepticon base. Lensmeter drones also attacked the Autobots as they explored the KSI building in East China. Shadows Rising

The Prime 1 Studio Museum Masterline Megatron statue based on his Dark of the Moon appearance comes with three small replicas of the Lensmeter Decepticons. The exclusive version, meanwhile, comes with a total of six of them.
In the Japanese-language version of Prime 1 Studio's website, the Lensmeter Decepticons are advertised as "Scalpel" instead. Yes, all of them.
The exclusive version of Megatron also comes with Igor.

  • Although Scalpel was destroyed in the novel and comic adaptations of Revenge of the Fallen, his fate was left ambiguous in the film itself, so one of the Lensmeter Decepticons may have been intended to be Scalpel himself.
