Lift-Ticket is a Diaclone vehicle from Diaclone or an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.
"Pay no attention to the man behind the windshield!"

Lift-Ticket is a salvage and mechanical repair specialist, appropriately equipped for rescue and repair operations with a tow cable that can pull several tons over vast distances, while his arms contain powerful servos and hydraulics that can lift twice as much. Highly alert and ever on-guard, Lift-Ticket's wariness helps to make up for the intense focus of his partner, the Diaclone project engineer Darius Cline; more than once, Lift-Ticket has had to pull Cline's attention away from his repairs in order to evade a foe's attack.

Fiction

TransTech

[edit]

Lift-Ticket was a rescue and repair mech created as part of the Diaclone project and assigned to Cline, an accomplished mechanic who was nominated to the project's team of pilots in order to perform repairs and prevent breakdowns in the field. Unlike the duo of Burn Out and Dia, Lift-Ticket's artificial intelligence was not based on Cline's personality, instead being given a cautious and wary personality to complement the methodical and detail-oriented Cline. Timelines Lift-Ticket profile

Crossing dimensions in pursuit of the Waruders, Lift-Ticket/Cline and Burn Out/Dia found themselves stranded on Axiom Nexus. Following a Waruder signal underground, the team bumped into a group of Cybertron's most wanted criminals. Startled, they fled the scene. The groups reconvened as they both wound up within the Waruder hive. Joining forces with C-81's group, as well as General Optimus Prime and Sergeant Hound, they did their best to hold the insectoid invaders at bay. During the battle, the Lift-Ticket mech took a severe blow, disabling it. Thankfully, Cline escaped unharmed, and the Waruders were led off-planet thanks to the collaborative efforts of everyone involved. Cybertron's Most Wanted

Masterpiece and MPG toy bios

[edit]

Following the defeat of the Waruders in Axiom Nexus and due to the phenomenon that fused Dia and Burn Out into a single being. Masterpiece Burn Out bio Darius Cline was sent home alone as a precaution by the TransTech staff. An error caused the damaged Lift-Ticket to get thrown out of the procedure. Multiple Swindles recovered him, repaired him, strengthened him and upgraded his AI with tech from another universe and then put him to work as their universe-hopping salvage and recovery robot. He didn't like it, but used it as a chance to find clues about what happened to Burn Out and to save up money and travel back to his own universe.

During one of his operations in another world, he drove alongside two cars that he recognized as Decepticons. While he was salvaging, he affirmed that both of them should look elsewhere to commit crimes. The cars revealed themselves to be Exhaust and Loudpedal, the former attempting to recruit him to salvage an ancient Mellonicus device. Lift-Ticket was aware of the guy's inventions because the Swindles had tried looking for them too. The weapon in question was called the Collapsor Bow, a musical instrument with replicator powers scaled based on how many people were listening, which Marlboor Dynamic bought, but the ship transporting it had hit an asteroid and was now drifting towards Earth's sun.. Exhaust wanted Loudpedal to play it for an audience of 1.2 million people so that they could replicate a duplicate planet Cybertron for the Decepticons to go live on. Lift-Ticket agreed to help once they revealed that the bow would turn the sun into a black hole if it fell in. MPG Lift-Ticket bio

Timelines

[edit]
The text on his doors doesn't signify that he's a Wrecker, only that he is a "Wrecker Type."
  • Diaclone 2-pack (Souvenir set, 2015)
  • Accessories: Towing hook/blaster
Timelines Lift-Ticket is a redeco of Generations Thrilling 30 Deluxe Class Hoist, itself a retool of Generations Trailcutter. Lift-Ticket transforms into an off-road truck, and comes with a towing hook that can transform into a blaster and peg via 5 mm post onto any of his numerous ports. This figure was available only in an at-show "Diaclone 2-pack" souvenir set with Burn Out at BotCon 2015.
In terms of assembly error, at least a small number of units have his towing hook assembled backwards. This seems most common in ones bought from the Transformers Collector's Club's web shop sales.
The original tooling of this toy also served as the basis of the non-toy characters Generation 1 Flatline, Wings Universe Turbofire, and Shattered Glass Trailbreaker and Lockdown.

Generations Selects

Oh no! They chugged Iron Man!
  • Lift-Ticket (Deluxe Class, 2022)
  • Series: Legacy
  • TakaraTomy name: Lift-Ticket (リフトチケット)
  • TakaraTomy release date: 2022 June 25
  • Accessories: Arm cannon
Generations Selects Lift-Ticket is a redeco of Earthrise Hoist, and an add-on to the Legacy toyline. Much like the BotCon Timelines toy above, Selects Lift-Ticket is based on the red version of the Diaclone "No. 8 4WD Wrecker Type" toy that was imported by Hasbro and redecoed for Hoist's original Generation 1 toy. As a nod to the Diaclone toy, Lift-Ticket features the word "WRECKER" tampographed in bold on either side of his vehicle mode.
Being a redeco of Hoist, Lift-Ticket's tow truck apparatus is compatible with the A.I.R. Lock System and can be connected to any of the figures from the War for Cybertron Trilogy lines that also feature this system.
Though scheduled for 2022 release, the first copies reached fans in 2021 just before New Year's Day. In Japan, Lift-Ticket was released as a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive. Lift-Ticket was also the first toy to be released with the Legacy logo on the packaging.
This mold was also retooled to make Earthrise Trailbreaker and Legacy DK-3 Breaker.
