Skull Buster
From MediaWiki
(Redirected from Mad)
- Skull Buster is a Unicron-allied Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Skull Buster is a member of the Aerial Extermination Mini-Con Team, and a personal attendant to Nemesis Prime. A one-robot wrecking crew, this brutal 'bot can and will perform a dictionary's worth of violent verbs on a victim (though if he'd know what the words meant is anyone's guess). Extremely monomaniacal, he won't let up on a target until they're reduced to their base parts.
Of course, groups of targets are another matter entirely...[1]

- Air Assault Micron (Mini-Con 3-pack, 2003)
- ID number: MM-17
- Release date: August 14, 2003
- Released in the sixth wave of Legend of the Microns product, Mad is a redeco of the Air Defense Mini-Con Team member Jetstorm: he is largely identical to the Hasbro "Air Assault" version of Jetstorm, but uses transparent plastic with a hint of purple instead of the Hasbro version's opaque off-white. He transforms into a Concorde Super Sonic Transport jet plane, and can also form the lower-blade to the Dark Saber sword, which can be held by any other Transformer that has 5 mm fist-holes.

Armada
[edit]
- Air Assault Mini-Con Team (Mini-Con Team, 2003)
The Armada Air Assault Jetstorm toy implicitly doubles as the Earth Wars version of Skull Buster.
- A "tainted by evil" redeco of the team was released by Hasbro in the fourth wave of the Armada line. This version of the trio replaces the transparent plastic with opaque off-white, the other colors turning predominantly black and purple.
Notes
