Masashi Hirose

This is no Zaku, boy! No Zaku!

Masashi Hirose (広瀬正志, Hirose Masashi born November 6, 1947) is a Japanese voice actor. Some of his anime roles include Ramba Ral, Sahib Ashman and numerous other characters across the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, Rikishiman, The Ninja and others throughout the Kinnikuman (M.U.S.C.L.E.) franchise, Gillman in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos, and Kan Yu in Armored Trooper Votoms.

In terms of dubbing, he has played Stan Lee in Marvel's The Avengers, Boba Fett in the theatrical dub of The Empire Strikes Back, Captain Mitchell in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, Barney Gumble, Apu and Sideshow Mel in The Simpsons and The Simpsons Movie, Flint and Serpentor in G.I. Joe: The Movie, Bobby Ganoush in Courage the Cowardly Dog and both Hector Con Carne & Boskov the Bear in Evil Con Carne.

An unspecified illness forced the end of his career in 2014.

Hirose portrayed these characters only in the Japanese dub of "The Rebirth", which was released in Japan under the American The Transformers branding to distinguish it from the continuity of the Japanese Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers series.
