Masterforce (マスターフォース Masutāfōsu) is a process that allows an ordinary human to become a super robot Transformer. It is manifested in two different forms, Headmasterforce and Godmasterforce, which, while similar in that they allow control of a lifeless transtector by humans, function in distinct ways.
Headmasterforce, expressed by the Headmaster Juniors, is the application of Planet Master's science to humans—it allows them to become the literal head and "brain" of a Transformer. However, they do not grant energy to the transtector.
Godmasterforce, utilized by the Godmasters, is a mysterious power arising from G Nebula 89. With this power, the Godmaster humans use the core of their soul to power the entire Transformer. They effectively become the "soul" of the robot, achieving a fuller fusion of being and Chōkon.<ref>Transformers: Super-God Masterforce Daikuzan</ref>

[edit]Believing that the fusion of robotic and organic life was the future, the Oracle created an autonomous computer to research and develop means by which this could be accomplished. Based in an automated factory in G Nebula 89, the computer created eight Transtectors, Transformer bodies without souls of their own, and eight sets of "Master-Brace" bracelets. When organic beings donned these bracelets, they would be granted the ability to transform their flesh-and-blood bodies into engine-like forms, and bond with the Transtectors, powering them with their very souls. Thousands of years ago, the factory was discovered by Transformers from the colony world of Master. But no sooner had they found the Transtectors, than the bodies were snatched away by the evil energy being, Devil Z, who intended to turn them into super-powerful minions to serve him. The Transformers went on to establish a presence in the G Nebula. In the 2010s, they worked to combine the Master-Braces developed in the factory with the unique Headmaster Transtectors they had developed on Master, devising a method that would allow human beings to become Headmasters themselves. Longstanding Autobot human ally Spike Witwicky helped in the development of this new technology, test-piloting the prototype version of the Master suit. LG54 Bumblebee & Exo-Suit Spike

[edit]In the ancient past, Devil Z scattered the Transtectors he had stolen from the G Nebula across Earth, where they lay hidden for millennia, asborbing the planet's unique Chokon Power. Shūta and Grand's Masterforce Super-Secrets! In the present day, Devil Z began recruiting evil-hearted humans to bond with the Transtectors. Thus infused with all three types of Chokon Power, the result was a lifeform with incredible powers far beyond those of mortal beings, for which reason, Devil Z dubbed them "Godmasters." A Fierce Battle!! The Autobots Are in Trouble
Receiving word of this increase in Decepticon activity on Earth, but unable to spare the manpower to investigate, the Autobot forces in space sent a shipment of their new Headmaster Transtectors to the small Autobot unit stationed on Earth, so that humans could bond with them and join in the defence of their own planet. The transport, however, was attacked by Decepticons mid-journey, and half the Transtectors were stolen. Both sides recruited a trio of young human allies, who donned Master-Braces to become the Headmaster Juniors. Birth! Headmaster Jrs
