Mayor Luskey Dome

The "Mayor Luskey Dome" is a large force field dome that covers the island of Griffin Rock to protect it from danger. The dome is projected from four mighty half-arches which can be extended to deploy the dome and retract into the sea when it is not needed. The dome's systems, controllable either from the main laboratory or a smaller station across town, also include an atmosphere generator, to keep the island in oxygen.

Doc Greene constructed the dome in response to the threat posed by Hurricane Opie, though the storm reached the island before the dome could be completed. The finishing touch was a stabilizer, retrieved from an old device on the Island of Misfit Tech, and once the dome was raised, Mayor Luskey claimed most of the credit and dubbed it the "Mayor Luskey Dome". However the supercomputer Vigil had piggybacked on the stabilizer, allowing him to take over the dome station's control systems, locking the dome in place and adding a sleeping agent to the atmosphere generator. After sealing the controls with cement, Vigil headed towards the lab. Ultimately with some teamwork, the Rescue Bots, Cody and Frankie were able to take down Vigil and lower the dome from the lab, dispersing the sleeping agent. No Place Like Dome

The dome was unable to be raised after the town's power was knocked out by a solar flare, leading to the island being endangered by a rogue satellite. A New Hero After the entire island was transported to the Arctic, the Rescue Bots had to deice the generators so the dome could be raised. Now and Then By filling the dome with floatium, the island was able to be flown back to its old position, although with the loss of one of the dome's generators, the Rescue Bots had to power it for the last leg with their own energon.
