When the base's radars detected unidentified jets flying over refineries and oil fields, McCullough called an emergency council. After Lieutenant Potter gave his conclusion that alien robots were behind the flyovers, McCullough was called to the bridge, where the jets were detected again.

After the Autobots tricked the Decepticons into believing that oil was in the Rocky Mountains, McCullough was bemused at the presence of unidentified objects flying to the Rocky Mountains. New York — A City Sinking in Terror
