Megatron Take Down is an online game tying in with the Kre-O toyline.

Plot

Optimus Prime sends Bumblebee on a mission to stop Megatron from reaching a city! Armed with a blaster and equipped with a jetpack, Bumblebee chases down the colossal Decepticon. He must stop Megatron before time runs out, all the while evading the many objects Megatron throws his way.

Gameplay

Megatron Take Down is a sort of 2-D side-scroller style game. You have five minutes to bring down Megatron as he stomps his way forward, making Bumblebee fly up, down, and side to side by moving your cursor about on the screen. Both Bumblebee and Megatron each possess a health bar. You can bring Megatron's health down by blasting at specific areas on him, highlighted by a cross-hairs. You must line up the "energy bubble" emanating from the end of your blaster with the cross-hairs in order to have each shot deal its damage. Though the cross-hairs appear on areas that are easy to hit at first, such as Megatron's torso, as his health is lowered, the targets become harder to hit. The final location of the cross-hairs is on Megatron's hand, which is especially hard to hit as he swings his arms back and forth as he trudges along. Your shots are also limited by your blaster's charge; whenever you take a shot or take a hit, your blaster's charge meter goes down to nothing, and you must wait for it to charge back up again in order to fire once more. It charges pretty quickly though. Occasionally, Megatron bends down to pick up trucks, signs, pipes, and other objects in his path, and flings them at you. You must evade these objects, or risk taking significant damage. If you run out of time, or Bumblebee's health is dwindled down to nothing, the game ends in your defeat.
