Mikazuki Island (三日月島 Mikazuki-tō, "Crescent Moon Island") is an island off the coast of the South Continent on Gaia.

Starscream concocted a scheme to stage an "oil party" on Mikazuki Island, in order to get the Insectrons drunk enough to fight and destroy each other. After sampling Starscream's particularly strong blend of oil, the Insectrons began to get rowdy as planned. Tasmania Kid called in his fellow Maximals to put a stop to it, but after Galvatron also accidentally chugged down Starscream's "special" oil, he landed on the island and began rampaging. The Maximals and Insectrons ultimately teamed-up to knock the raging drunk Galvatron off the island. The Strongest Tag Team?
