Oil-drilling platform

Located off the coast of Oregon, Blackrock Enterprises's oil-drilling platform is a state of the art offshore oil extracting and refining facility. The bulk of the technology that went into the facility was developed by a young computer genius named Josie Beller. The facility can dock with tankers and land planes. Some of the more advanced systems include non-polluting digitized micro-scrubbers for the refinery and a semi-automated defense system which includes mortar cannons, swarms of single-man hovercopters, and wire-guided surface-to-air-harpoons.

While watching several television stations at once, Shockwave learned of the oil-drilling platform from Charlene Welles's interview with Blackrock and Beller. The New Order Shockwave single-handedly attacked the facility and conquered it with ease, gravely injuring Beller in the process. Shockwave then radioed the Ark and ordered all fully-operational Decepticons to join him there. This included Soundwave, Rumble, Frenzy, and Skywarp, who immediately started repairs while Shockwave returned to the Ark. The Worse of Two Evils! Shockwave coordinated the assault on the Blackrock Aerospace Assembly Plant Number One from the oil-drilling platform. Warrior School!

Shockwave left Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp on the platform with the task of collecting petrochemicals, which took several weeks. Meanwhile, Walter Barnett set up a naval blockade but was hesitant to attack because of the potential environmental damage. Shockwave flew right by the blockade carrying a power siphon, which the four Decepticons used to convert the collected petrochemicals into energon cubes. The Decepticons exploded one of the cubes to provide cover for their escape with the rest of the energon. Rock and Roll-Out!
