Operation M2

Operation M2 (M2号作戦 M2-gō Sakusen) is a Decepticon offensive concocted by Devil Z during the Masterforce War to bring Earth under the Decepticons' thrall if Operation M1 failed. Unlike Operation M1, Operation M2 involves the complete destruction of the Earth's surface by destroying the ozone layer, resulting in the end of humanity.

After Operation M1 proved to be a failure, Devil Z called all Decepticons involved to retreat and ordered the beginning of Operation M2. BlackZarak - Destroyer from Space To this end, Guardminders were tasked with constructing the Death Para-Machine as an instrument to kill humanity and BlackZarak was sent ahead for last-minute perparations. After revealing those shocking details to Giga and Mega, Devil Z assured the two that they would not be forgotten, for they would be safe from the chaos and usher in a new Decepticon kingdom on Earth. Overlord, with the Decepticon Headmaster Juniors inside, and Darkwings were sent to meet with BlackZarak by the Death Para-Machine floating behind the dark side of the Moon.

The two Decepticon crafts were detected by Grand Maximus, who collected the Autobot Godmasters and Headmaster Juniors and flew into space to confront the Decepticons before they could do any damage. The two forces battled, with the Guardminers providing troop support for the Decepticons. To show the power of the Death Para-Machine, Devil Z ordered BlackZarak to perform a test. The scorpion fired into the Death Para-Machine, and the energy was amplified and redirected to Earth, where it destroyed a spot of ozone, causing disasters on the surface. Delighted with the success of the test, Devil Z commanded BlackZarak to do a full-blown shot, destroying the entire ozone layer. As the machine prepared to fire, God Ginrai covered himself with Chōkon Power and sped through the Death Para-Machine, destroying it and forcing the Decepticons into retreat. Crisis!
