Oziron Rael
- Oziron Rael is a Micronaut from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family
Oziron “Oz” Rael, the last Pharoid, is the leader of the Micronauts. While he acts like a roguish space pirate rebel, Oz is a good guy at heart. Though a self-professed pacifist who prefers to stay out of conflict, he is unwilling to sit idly by and let innocent people suffer. Unfortunately, being the last of the psychic Pharoid race, Oz knows the truth about what's happening to Microspace, making him and his crew a target for various players in Microspace, including Baron Karza.

While Scarlett expressed her worry about what other forces could appear on Earth following Optimus Prime's activities, Oz and the Micronauts were in the middle of a battle. Secret Raiders
After flying into the Entropy Cloud aboard the Heliopolis in an attempt to both save their universe and escape Baron Karza, the Micronauts were attacked by Reptos, a race of beings previously thought destroyed by the cloud. Seeing that the Reptos survived, Oz was excited to return home with the news that Microspace wasn't doomed. With the Reptos destroy tearing up the Heliopolis, Oz told Microtron to destroy the ship if he had to, something which proved unnecessary after the crew was saved by the mysterious Time Traveler.
Several days into their journey, while tracking a mysterious energy source, the Micronauts received a message from Baron Karza. Karza told them that though it had only been a few days for them inside the storm, years had passed for him after he followed them into the cloud. Microtron then informed Oz that he discovered the source of the energy he detected earlier, which also happened to be the source of Karza's signal. Upon seeing the source of the energy, Oz struggled to comprehend what he was looking at. Karza explained that he was looking was the birthplace of Microspace: the body of Micronus Prime. Karza explained how Micronus Prime held a living gateway, a spacebridge, to another reality. Within this reality was a crystalline substance that could stabilize the Microverse and end the threat of the Entropy Cloud. Urged on by both Karza and the Time Traveler, Oziron led the Micronauts through the space bridge and into this new realm. O Ship of State They arrived inside Autobot City, but crossed paths with another infiltrator, the ninja-commando Snake-Eyes. After an encounter with both him and Arcee, they lay down arms long enough to find a solution that benefited both worlds. Alongside Rom, Spaceknight, they helped defend Autobot City from an invasion by the Dire Wraiths and Miles Mayhem's M.A.S.K. agents. All without understanding a word of English. That last bit proved costly when Baron Karza emerged from the Space Bridge as well and used "enerchange" to meld with the Dire Wraiths, bonding them to his armor. The New Colossus
Oz reasoned that Karza was using the vibratory frequency of the Ore-13 crystals as an energy source to neutralize the Entropy Cloud back in Microspace, but as a consequence the crystals were left violently and explosively unstable back on Earth. Realizing they could not sacrifice the safety of Earth for the security of Microspace, the Micronauts teamed with Mainframe, Soundwave, Rom, and Matt Trakker to stabilize the crystals and enerchange with the Space Bridge to draw Karza back into Microspace. The Micronauts were blown far afield and away from their allies in the backlash, however, and found themselves in the custody of human scientists. Valley Forge

[edit]- Oz's species is loosely based on the Pharoid figure from the original Micronauts toyline, while some of their number became "the Time Travelers", a different Micronauts figure.
