The Phantomstrike Squadron is a Decepticon subgroup from the Siege portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Decepticon Phantomstrike Squadron is a quickstrike team, made up of some of the best Decepticon soldiers. Their tasks during the war for Cybertron were identifying and attacking key Autobot positions and launching quick strike surprise attacks.

The Phantomstrike Squadron regularly stations themselves in the Decepticon fortress, Darkmount.

After countless attacks had been made on several of the Autobot resistance's positions by the Decepticon Phantomstrike Squadron, the Autobot Alphastrike Counterforce was called to arms. While the Phantomstrike Squadron was stationed in Darkmount, south-east of Alphastrike's position,<ref>Map of Cybertron released as part of the online Siege bonus content.</ref> Greenlight—who had been tracking them from her drop point in a nearby deserted Decepticon zone—attempted to transmit the all-clear for the attack to commence, but they discovered her transmission and corrupted its signal. Teletraan-1 attempted to retrieve the full transmission from the Decepticons to gather the location data needed to assess the threat. Following this, a battle ensued between both strike teams. The Siege "Decepticon Phantomstrike Squadron" pack includes a redeco and head-retool of Voyager Class Starscream as Skywarp, a redeco of Siege Firebolt as Decepticon Fracas, a redeco of Siege Aimless as Shrute, and a redeco of Siege Pteraxadon as Terror-Daxtyl. The set was the counterpart to the "Autobot Alphastrike Counterforce".
It was made available at general retail in Taiwan without prior announcement from Hasbro, and was an Amazon exclusive for North America, which also labelled the set as "Final Strike Figure Series: Part 2", and a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive in Japan.
The package art forms a complete mural with that of the Autobot Alphastrike Counterforce.
The Decepticon Phantomstrike Squadron was rereleased alongside the Autobot Alphastrike Squadron in early 2025. This rerelease was exclusive to several online retailers and Gamestop in the United States.
