Today, we are cancelling the Apocalypse!

Prepare for Battle was the official website of Transformers: The Ride – 3D, which was advertised in trailers for the ride. The site provided details on the ride, as well as behind-the-scenes videos, downloads, and a game where players could potentially win real prizes.

The site was deactivated in June 2014.

Morshower Communiqués

[edit]

The site regularly posted videos, in which General Morshower would address you, detailing life within NEST, what you’re fighting for and who you would fight against. At the end of each video, it would show a message telling the viewer to "Prepare for Battle" and then show the site address. These videos are still available on YouTube.

Making of Videos

[edit]

Several videos on the site detailed the behind-the-scenes process through which the ride was created, including the making of Evac, the voice recording, Industrial Light & Magic's creation of the effects, and an overview of the ride from staff at Universal Creative.

Downloads

[edit]

The site offered several PDF files for download, including four character posters and two NEST files: one teaching how to destroy Decepticons, and another telling the history of Evac and the Knights of Cybertron. Ringtones and desktop wallpapers were also available for download.

Buzz

[edit]

This section included reviews from press outlets who had written about the ride, as well as a video highlight reel of impressions from other riders.

Plan your Visit

[edit]

Through the site, users could buy tickets, see overviews of both Universal Studios locations, check room availability at nearby hotels, and receive directions to reach the parks.
