Optimus Prime and Bumblebee land upon a planet, and meet a friendly race of bunny-like aliens, who seem to worship the local energy pits. However, this peace is quickly ruined by Megatron and Starscream, who decide to take over the planet and enslave the locals. Prime and Megatron start fighting using their respective energonweaponsSherman Dam-style, until the aliens take matters into their own paws... By amassing into a giant rabbit, grabbing the Decepticons and hurling them into deep space! While Prime congratulates the bunnies and their courage, Bee just cuddles them and sings peace's praises.
While the alien species introduced in this issue is all-new for Go! Go!, their body shape and crater-littered planet is pretty transparently drawing on the common association between rabbits and the moon in Japanese culture stemming from [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Moon rabbit|{{#if:their analogue to the "man in the moon"|their analogue to the "man in the moon"|Moon rabbit}}]], probably best known to western readers from [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Sailor Moon|{{#if:||Sailor Moon}}]] protagonist Usagi Tsukino (月野 うさぎ, Tsukino Usagi), whose name is an oft-remarked upon [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}homonym|{{#if:||homonym}}]] with the Japanese word for rabbit (兎). Transformers fans, meanwhile, will likely recognize the association from the Beast Wars II rabbit named. Uh. Moon.
