Notes
[edit]- This story marks the beginning of Go! Go!'s first "event" with a fancy new logo and everything. Namely, it is part 1 of the Trainbot-centric Transformers Go! Go! Shushupopo!! (トランスフォーマーごー!ごー!しゅしゅぽぽ!!"Transformers Go! Go! Chuggachuggachoochoo!!") commemorating the completion of the team as the first project in the MPG toyline.
- The issue was double-shipped as the second issue for the month of March 2024 and advertised the MPG figures of Shouki, Getsuei, Yukikaze, Suiken, Seizan, and Kaen, as well as the first collected edition of Go! Go!.
Transformers references
[edit]- This issue naturally marks the debut of all six Trainbots. As is Oda's style the group is depicted in character models based on the toys being advertised, which in this case mean the hinges, panels, and scribed details aplenty of the group's MPG toys.
- For rather understandable reasons she omits the comic's usual transformation splash page for want of regaling children with six different kinds of expert-level panel origami.
- As this is pretty much the first spotlight on five of the six Trainbots in the team's entire 37 year history, Getsuei, Yukikaze, Suiken, Seizan and Kaen's characterizations here are all pulled from their original Headmasters toy bios.
