The rarely seen Randall is Dave's boss at the mall.

After Dave saw a pair of tiny robots, he told Randall, who didn't believe him. (Never) Be Yourself When Dave came down with food poisoning, he called Randall to let him know he was sick....and needed new pants. The Ruckus Rally After seeing a seeing a flyer for an opening on the day shift, Dave commented he'd never get it as his boss thinks he's "smacker-beany" for ranting about tiny robots in the mall. He then concocted a plan to capture the robots to prove they exist, which of course went horribly wrong, ending with him destroying a fountain. After finding out, Randall called Dave and fired him. Agent Smartlit Dave then broke his firing to his mom, telling her Randall told him that the mall would be safer without him there. Later, Randall received an e-mail from an anonymous source with a video showing that Dave saved the mall from the rampaging security bots. Impressed by his bravery, Randall rehired him to his night guard position. Shopping Brawl
