The rent-a-car seller is a human from the Super-God Masterforce cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

You can't cheat an honest man, unless you're Ginrai.

The rent-a-car seller (レンタカー屋 rentakāya) of the Esso station is an old hand at trucks. When one is dead he'll say so, not charge for repairs that won't make a difference.

In urgent need of a new truck cab, Ginrai asked the rent-a-car seller if he had any going spare. The seller did have one in serviceable condition, however his scrupulous honesty compelled him to tell Ginrai that it was rumored to be haunted, and several renters had returned it early as a result.

This didn't stop Ginrai (who was wildly pleased with the truck) from feigning a lack of interest to get him to lower the price. A Hero Is Chosen - His Name Is Ginrai

• The bizarre chain of events which caused Ginrai's Transtector to end up in an Esso garage remains a mystery.
