The Rescue Bot clones are a group of human-created robots from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.

The Rescue Bot clones are duplicates of Rescue Force Sigma-17 created by Doctor Morocco to allow him to kidnap the real team and brainwash them into his service, assisting Madeline Pynch in her villainy. The clones are autonomous, ordinary machines, operating according to simple programming.

The team includes clones of Heatwave, Boulder, Chase, and Blades

Doctor Morocco learned about the true nature of Griffin Rock's "rescue robots" when he sneaked into the firehouse, Changes and used the details he downloaded about the team and Optimus Prime to construct his duplicates.

Arriving back first from a rescue to an empty firehouse, Blades was lured down into the caverns connected to the bunker and then sprayed with a substance that forced him into vehicle mode and captured. As the other rescue team members returned, the Blades clone emerged from the tunnels in his place. The clone's behavior, however was unlike Blades's—training with Heatwave's punching bags, performing pushups, and uninterested in television.

In Morocco's headquarters, the doctor revealed his plan to the real Blades, as well as the Heatwave, Chase and Boulder duplicates. After wiping Blades's memory, Morocco used the duplicates to convince Blades of their mission, purportedly given to him by Optimus Prime, and of the "evil" Burns family.

Subsequently, the Blades clone drew the rescue team to a supposed cave-in, with only the Bots entering the cave due to the risky conditions. They were then switched with the clones in the same manner as Blades.

Although the duplicates were able to fulfill the duties of the Bots they'd replaced, their human partners grew suspicious due to their brusque, literal and unfriendly demeanor. Cody tested Heatwave, asking him about the movie he took them to on their first night, which the fire-bot claimed to not remember. Cody then pushed Heatwave for why his visor remained down, earning the human an uncharacteristically ominous reply.

To test their suspicions, the Burnses brought their "partners" to the EMP area at Griffin Crest, knowing from previous experience that the real bots would decline to enter. Without any objection, the robots entered the EMP area, were zapped and shut down. Upon further inspection, Graham identified that they were robots created from wires and electronics, not alien creatures. Double Villainy
