2009 saw multiple Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video games published for numerous gaming systems by Activision in conjunction with the motion picture.

Versions

[edit]

The "main" version of the game has an online multiplayer mode and the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions have DLC comprising 11 new playable characters, 3 multiplayer maps, an expert difficulty "hard mode" and 10 new Achievements/Trophies.

The PS2 and Wii versions of the game follow a completely different version of the movie's plot, with drastic differences even between the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions. The player alternates between both factions on specific levels.

The PlayStation Portable version of the game allows players to play as Dead End, as well as to go through an loose version of the movie's plot.

Just like the first game, the DS version is separated into two titles. Both of them loosely follow the movie's plot from each faction's point of view.
