[edit]

The super-energy alien being and self-styled "Decepticon god" Devil Z stole several transtectors from an area of space known as the G Nebula. Devil Z scattered the Transtectors across Earth, where they lay in hiding for years, absorbing the planet's Chōkon Power, to await the day Devil Z would have them bond to human beings, thereby creating a new super-robotic lifeform: Godmasters. Shūta and Grand's Masterforce Super-Secrets! One transtector would eventually fall into the hands of a human named Road King, who used the transtector in conjunction with the Master-Braces found within to join the battle against the Decepticons. Assemble! The Four Godmaster Gunmen

In the wake of Devil Z's destruction, the bond between the Autobot humans and their Transtectors was broken, and Road King became a normal human again as his now-living Transtector and those of all the other Autobots headed into space to continue the fight against the Decepticons. • ID number: C-306
  • Accessories: Godmaster Transtector, "Pin-Hole Rifle", spoiler, engine block
Released in the fourth year of Takara's Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers line under the Super-God Masterforce banner, Road King is identical to the concurrently-released Hasbro Powermaster Lube, transforming from armored humanoid into an engine block. In engine mode, he can plug into the engine socket of any larger Godmaster/Powermaster toy, unlocking their transformation or other gimmicks.
Road King's Transtector is identical to the Hasbro Powermaster Slapdash, transforming into a blue and yellow Formula 1 race car, which, like any Godmaster, cannot transform into robot mode until a Godmaster/Powermaster figure in engine mode and snapped into place in the toy's chassis. (Or you can just press the tiny release button via some other method. The engine method is easier on the fingertips though.) The socket will fit a Decepticon engine, but it will not unlock his transformation. Unique among Godmasters, Road King's engine socket is actually concealed in vehicle mode beneath a yellow engine block piece (into which his "Pin-Hole Rifle" weapon can be plugged), which is removed and stored on the rear of the car to expose the socket for transformation.
In robot mode, either the yellow engine block or the Godmaster engine can be fitted into place on the robot's chest, with the remaining piece stored on the figure's back. (The cartoon puts the engine on the chest at all times.) Thanks to the 5 mm holes in his forearms, the engine block can also be used as a shield.
