- Saejima is a Transformers version of Juzo Saejima (冴島 十三 Saejima Jūzō), the police superintendent from Brave Police J-Decker.
- Saejima is referred to as "boss" (上司 jōshi) in Clampdown's Masterpiece bio. Presumably his formal title would be the real-life "Superintendent General" (警視総監 Keishisōkan).
