Scattershot is an Autobot from the War for Cybertron portion of the Aligned continuity family.
I'm a scout class.

Scattershot is an Autobot who fought on Cybertron during the early days of the Autobot/Decepticon war.

Scattershot is a downloadable content character, made available by downloading the Transformers: War for Cybertron Map and Character Pack. He is playable in the multiplayer Escalation mode and his chassis, identified as a "Protector", can be used in multiplayer customization, but he is not playable in the War for Cybertron storyline campaign. He was available for the XBox 360 and PS3 versions of the game, but not for the PC version.

Once again, Scattershot only appears as a usable Titan-class chassis in Fall of Cybertron's multiplayer mode, identified as "Wrecker." This time, he was available from the get-go. He is not playable in the Fall of Cybertron storyline campaign.

  • As noted above, Scattershot's model is usable in War for Cybertron multiplayer as the Protector-type chassis for Soldier-class characters. His parts are also available in Fall of Cybertron, now classified as Wrecker-type components for Titan-class characters.
  • Like the rest of the DLC characters, Scattershot in Escalation shares voice lines with his Multiplayer class. In this case, he's voiced by Keith Silverstein.
  • Scattershot is a homage to the Cybertron character Scattorshot (specifically his "Cybertron Defense" form), as opposed to the G1 Technobot Leader of the same name.
  • In the DLC trailer, Scattershot's character model was placed over an animation of Brawl's. Specifically, from a cutscene where he goes berserk on several attacking Autobots, providing the rather amusing image of making it appear Scattershot decided it would be fun to beat up his own comrades. Rather tellingly, Scattershot's weapon (a Neutron assault rifle) has purple Decepticon glow lines, and is Brawl's default weapon in the game.
  • Scattershot was planned for the Transformers Universe online game before it was canceled. Character designer Theo Stylianides would post his concept art of Scattershot online (at right).
