Sky-Byte is a Decepticon from Cyberworld.
Finally, Cyberworld gives us a fishing minigame!

Sky-Byte is a nasty, slimy bot, with a tendency to talk about his enemies as delicious, delectable prey. Someone that turns into a shark and tries to eat his enemies may seem laughable, but he's responsible for a lot of pain in Cyberworld, which has earned him the personal enmity of Elita-1.

The Sharknado franchise got weird in later installments.

Having been on Cyberworld for many, many cycles, by the time Optimus Prime arrived, he had eliminated all the other members of Elita-1's Autobot group, including Wheeljack. This led to the two developing a staunch rivalry. During one of their bouts, a race along a river in which Elita was winning, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee intervened, leading to Sky-Byte winning the energon at stake by Elita's automatic forfeit. He engaged the three in a fight, but fled due to their greater numbers. At a temple, he reported to Megatron that Optimus Prime had arrived.River Race Ruckus

When Prime, Bee, and Elita tried to sneak into Cyber City, he and Mirage were sent to stop them. Sky-Byte again battled Elita, revealing Megatron had gifted him wheels, enabling him to pursue her through the streets in shark-mode. When Optimus and Bee returned to back her up, and Mirage nowhere to be found, he fled. Smoke & Mirrors

Perfect for the kids!
  • Sky-Byte (Cyber Changer, 2025)
  • Environment: Ocean
  • Accessories: Claw hand
Released in the first wave of standard Cyberworld Cyber Changers, Sky-Byte transforms into a wheeled robot shark-car in a few simple steps; his torso has a partial autotransformation that raises and lowers his robot head into the appropriate position as his waist is levered into position. He's blessed with pinned (and painted!) wheels that roll well across a smooth surface. His removable claw hand is attached via a 5 mm post, thus can be swapped out with other accessories if you like. He also has four hexagonal 5 mm ports making up the cylinders of his engine block, as well as one on the back of his robot head (thus on top of his beast-car-mode head), and one on his robo-butt.
As with the other Cyber Changers, Sky-Byte features minimal articulation, with ball-jointed shoulders, hips, and knees. He's also scaled to fit into the pilot/gunner compartments of larger Cyberworld toys.
