Slapper is a Decepticon from the Animated continuity family.
But is his tongue 42 feet, 3 inches long?

As Swindle might say, "there's a sucker protoformed every cycle"; Slapper seems to exist to prove that mantra. Dim and gullible, Slapper doesn't just believe anything that's told to him, he's a prime target to be manipulated by both Autobot and Decepticon alike.

His lot in life has made him rather bitter, and he responds by taking amusement in the misfortune of others. Even his own brothers have been the victims of his crude sense of humor.

Notes

[edit]
  • He shares a body frame with Spittor.
  • Slapper was originally introduced as part of an April Fools' Day treat by Derrick J. Wyatt, who encouraged users to determine which characters in a picture would be appearing in upcoming episodes of season 3. Slapper ultimately didn't make the cut, but he was made an official part of the Animated universe in the The AllSpark Almanac II.
  • The mention of Slapper having brothers is a possible allusion to Animated versions of Gas Skunk and Dark Scream, who are tangentially referred to as Slapper's brothers by Takara in the original Car Robots toy catalog.
