The Space Graveyard (宇宙墓場 Uchū Hakaba) is region in space where broken down and destroyed spaceships drift to. The amassed gravity of such junk makes the area perilous to travel through.

The ship of the proton energy-plundering Space Pirates ended up in the Space Graveyard.

While pursuing the Decepticons on their energy-raiding journey, the Autobots in Battleship Maximus came across the Space Graveyard. Daniel pointed out the Space Pirate Ship, to which Highbrow gave the excited boy a closer look and the viewscreen. The Autobots passed along to the Pirate Planet, where they fought with the Decepticons over the hidden location of a stock of proton energy.

A signal detected by Highbrow earlier led the Autobots to return to the Space Pirate Ship for the key to the proton energy's storage. Mystery of the Space Pirate Ship
