In the past, the Space Pirates plundered proton energy from many planets and stored it inside a pyramid on the Pirate Planet. The proton energy was discovered by some party and, after misuse, was destroyed by it when the unleashed proton energy spread across the Pirate Planet and turned it into a desert wasteland.

The Transformers, not knowing this, sought the proton energy. The hunt began when the Autobot Clones discovered two halves of a skull plaque. The Decepticon Clones stole both skull halves, allowing their leader Galvatron to combine the halves and reveal a map to a location on the Pirate Planet. There, the Decepticons were attacked by the Autobots, who placed the skull plaque into a recession on a skull sculpture, revealing a hidden pyramid underground. The Autobots found the last piece of the puzzle at the Space Pirate Ship floating in the Space Graveyard: another skull. The skull was attached to a skeleton at the pyramid's entrance to open a door to the interior. Generations Selects Special Comic

The Space Pirate Duncan teamed up with the Space Pirate Seacons God Neptune comic 2 to harvest proton energy. Seacons comic 5 If any proton energy was successfully harvested, he took off with it and left the Seacons with less than nothing. God Neptune comic 2

Ask Vector Prime

Spacewarp and Foldspace used proton energy to break the Transwarp Blaster out of stasis lock. Ask Vector Prime
