[edit]Force of Habit
[edit]Ultra Magnus had Longrack assigned as captain of the Spanner to search for Cybertronian colony worlds in the Delta Draconis. Delta Crateris, where Ultra Magnus's Iron Hope would explore, functioned as the ship's rendezvous point.
The first colony world the ship found and landed on was one long dead: Combatron. Confused by the myriad of dead bodies lying around and the large number of factions the planet apparently once had hosted, the crew split up to investigate. Longrack stayed at the ship as hub for the others' findings. Soon, Blurr reported in he was under attack and he subsequently went missing. Longrack contacted the Iron Hope immediately to ask for backup, but Ultra Magnus had to answer he couldn't afford to spend time looking for one missing soldier and that the Spanner was on its own. Conceding to the situation, Longrack contacted the others to look for Blurr themselves.
Some time later, the completed crew returned to the Spanner to contact the Iron Hope again, this time to inform Ultra Magnus about the discovery of a humongous arsenal of powerful weaponry, which the Decepticons had gotten too first. Once more, Ultra Magnus informed them he had his hands full, but gave the order that they had to do everything in their power to prevent the weapons from leaving Combatron.
The Spanner performed its swan song during the subsequent battle. In a last attempt to stop the Decepticons, Armorhide returned to the Spanner, having to fight off a legion of Decepticlones to reach it, and flew back to the battlefield. Armorhide set the ship to crash into the storage facility still housing most of the weapons the Decepticons had found, leaving the ship himself shortly before impact. Force of Habit
