Straightaway Shootout

The Good, The Bad, and The Dumbass.

Searching Earth for more Decepticons, a squad consisting of Ironhide, Swerve and Mudflap, finally strike gold. Unfortunately they've found two of the nastiest Decepticons — Sparkcrusher, with near-indestructible armor, and Runamuck whose breakneck speed is unmatched. The battle that follows will become known as the Straightaway Shootout.

Revenge of the Fallen

[edit]
  • Straightaway Shootout (Multi-pack, 2009)
This five-pack of Legends Class toys was an exclusive at Target in the US and Zellers in Canada, containing five redecos of existing toys, two of which represent entirely new characters.
Ironhide is represented by a redeco of his 2008 Legends toy, in colors still accurate to his movie appearance, but with a different layout of paint applications. He transforms into a black 2006 GMC Topkick 4500 four-wheel drive pickup truck, though this toy has been criticized for its proportions.
Mudflap is a relatively unchanged version of his original Legends toy, transforming into a Chevy Trax. He has a glossier finish and a sandy spray across his feet.
Swerve transforms into a red Corvette Stingray concept car. He is a redeco of Sideswipe's toy.
Sparkcrusher is the odd one out in that he's a redeco of a Generation 1 toy — Warpath's Universe toy. He transforms into a green Cybertronian tank of entirely made up design, which would be entirely conspicuous on Earth.
Runamuck transforms into a Pontiac Solstice Custom Hardtop. The toy's simplicity results in his chest bumper ending up on the roof on his vehicle mode. He's a redeco of Jazz's Legends Class toy, sporting colors in homage to Generation 1 Breakdown, which suggests he may at one point have been intended to be Brakedown.
