I've got two words for the children that are raised on that crap: HELD BACK. REPEATING THE THIRD GRADE. LOW STANDARDIZED TEST SCORES. I GUESS THIS WAS MORE THAN TWO WORDS. THE PAPER, PLEASE TAKE US HOME.

Strong-Bot is the biggest, toughest, and strongest Go-Bot there is, and takes the form of the biggest, toughest, and strongest machines he can. He's persistent and determined, and won't stop until the job is done. He lives to build and no dream is so big that he can't achieve it!

Dear Strong-Bot. How do you type with shovels for hands?

Strong-Bot was chosen by the High Council as "the strongest" of the available Go-Bots to join the Earth's Go-Bot Team on their mission to help Earth.

When Silver-Bot arrived on Earth and created a hurricane near a human beach resort due to his reckless fun, Aero-Bot, Speed-Bot and Strong-Bot were dispatched to save the people and stop the big doofus. First Strong-Bot towed a cruise liner to safety (by dragging it across shallow water), then dug a cave for the tourists to hide out in during the storm. Typhoon Twister

When Mototron caused a hubbub in the Arctic, Strong-Bot stayed behind at the Go-Pod to coordinate Aero-Bot, Beast-Bot, and Speed-Bot. He was the first to notice that Kid-Bot and Gas-bot were absent from the base, and asked the agents in the field if they’d seen them about. Sure enough, the pair had stowed away in Speed-Bot’s trunk. With the pair accounted for, Strong-Bot continued to help his friends from behind the monitor. Arctic Oil Spill

When Reptron ran wild near Pyramid City, Strong-Bot was the first to spot the renegade Go-Bot on the Go-scanner. He stayed behind once more that the Go-Pod to help coordinate the mission, notably complimenting Aero-Bot on some great dam-building to save a town from a flood. Reptron's Rampage

Strong-Bot was bestowed a Go-Shield by the Metropolis High Council for his outstanding work guarding Earth. His team then learned that a couple of Racer-Bots had driven off to have fun with their new Go-Brillium powers, kicking up trouble along their way. Strong-Bot once more was ordered to stay at the Go-Pod, this time to monitor the Racer-Bots at all times. Thanks to his quick thinking, the Go-Bots in the field were able to prevent any injuries during the mission. Racer-Bot Road Rally

Transformers: Go-Bots (2003)

One hand would have a bucket on it!
  • Strong-Bot (Basic Go-Bot, 2002)
Released in the newly-rebranded Transformers: Go-Bots line, Strong-Bot transforms into a yellow bulldozer in jsut a few short simple steps. In vehicle mode, pushing down on his driver's cabin make his shovel-scoop rise up.
This toy was also available in a Kmart exclusive 2-pack with Beast-Bot II; basically they just taped two normal single-pack toys together.
This toy was released in Japan as Beck, recolored in Go-Bots as Scrap-Bot, and retooled as Randy.

You know, for like, dumpin' oatmeal on stuff...
  • Strong-Bot (Botropolis Basic, 2003)
Part of the "Botropolis" wave of re-re-branded Go-Bots (minus the "Transformers"), this new form for Strong-Bot has him transforming into a yellow and orange "earth mover" dump truck. Rare for a Go-Bots toy, Strong-Bot has useful (and unnecessary for transformation) forward elbow articulation.
This toy was released in Japan with as Gong; the only notable difference is that Gong has the old "chibi Autobot" faction symbol instead of Strong-Bot's Go-Shield.

Population: Tire
  • Strong-Bot All Terrain (Secret Shield, 2004)
Released in the first wave of the "Secret Shield" assortment of the re-re-re-branded Transformers: Go-Bots (oy!), this version of Strong-Bot transforms into an all-terrain vehicle.
This is actually a redeco of the "Invisibility Force" ATV Strong-Bot (below), but that toy was held back for reasons unknown until 2005.

MixMastah 800
  • Strong-Bot (Invisibility Force, 2004)
Part of the first wave of "Invisibility Force" clear-plastic Go-Bots, this version of Strong-Bot transforms into a cement truck. The cement drum can rotate, and becomes a massive clawed left arm in robot mode.

Look, I'm not your friend, monkey dude. In fact, I'm not even gonna call you ****** again. I'ma call you Josh.
  • Special Bonus Pack (Multi-pack, 2003-2004?)
This Toys"R"Us exclusive three-pack was planned to contain a modified release of the retooled "Randy" steamroller version of Strong-Bot from Takara's Kids' Transformers: Rescue Hero Go-Bots line, with his arms becoming the roller barrel, and with the "Go-Shield" rather than the rounded-off Autobot insignia used on the original Strong-Bot and Randy.
The set was ultimately unreleased (and unnannounced!) for unknown reasons, being discovered when it surfaced on Ebay, where the seller confirmed it was given to him by a former Hasbro employee [1].
The set also included a chromed Speed-Bot and Gorilla-Bot. While the Speed-Bot and Gorilla-Bot toys received unchanged individual releases, steamroller Strong-Bot ultimately never saw release.

Sunday! Sunday! Someday! It's Awexome Cross 98!!!
  • Strong-Bot (Basic Go-Bot, 2005)
Part of the second wave of "Secret Shield" Go-Bots, released just before the line was cancelled, this Strong-Bot is a retooling of Flash-Bot with a new Strong-Bot-style head, transforming into a pickup truck with oversized "monster" tires.

  • Strong-Bot (Invisibility Force, 2005)
Part of the second wave of "Invisibility Force" Go-Bots, this is a redeco of his above "Secret Shield" all-terrain vehicle toy, but now cast in mostly clear yellow plastic.
This wave of toys was intended for release in 2004, but was held back until after the line was cancelled in 2005.

Notes

[edit]
No, the true sign of being famous is in the unlicensed stuff! And we're all over that! In fact, we've got our own application process for becoming an officially licensed unlicensed seller of Strong-Bot and The Cheat knock-offs.
  • The designs of various Playskool Go-Bots toys (and one 1-2-3 Transformers toy) were plagiarized for use as characters in the Chinese cartoon Robo Warriors, including the original Strong-Bot (seen right). Ironically, these plagiarized designs would later be plagiarized themselves, with the cartoon Martial Mecha Saga basing many of the show's robot designs on those of Robo Warriors (the two cartoons were produced by different companies).<ref name=forumpost>

Post by SirToys claiming that the designs for the later show were inspired by the former.</ref>
