Peril from the Stars

[edit]
The following summarizes one or more multipath adventures. Details vary depending on the paths taken in-story. See the book's page for information on alternate paths.

After an eventful morning with a red flash in the sky and the systems of the Los Palmos observatory going haywire, Sue and your Uncle Jack were preparing to receive you as a visitor. However, while Jack was picking you up, Sue was implanted with a cerebro-shell by the villainous Insecticon Bombshell. He and Starscream were tracking a Cybertronian weapons pod trapped in Earth's orbit and needed to gain control of the observatory while they did it.

When you and Jack arrived back at the observatory with the Autobot Jazz, Sue held you at gunpoint until you disabled the cerebro-shell with a null-field generator and Jazz removed it with a thin laser beam. Later the Decepticons attacked the observatory and set the weapons pod to home in on a beacon they planted there, but thanks to your quick thinking Sue was saved from being killed by the beacon. She then stayed up all night with you and Jack listening to Jazz's stories. Peril from the Stars

Since "Peril from the Stars" is a multipath adventure, the above isn't necessarily what happens to Aunt Sue. If Jack is knocked unconscious trying to shoot Jazz, it seems she's not implanted with a cerebro-shell at all, or, to pick another example, she does get killed if you think it's a good idea to keep quiet about the homing beacon in your pocket.

Notes

[edit]
  • Jack and Sue are described as astronomers, "but not the sort of astronomers who just sit around calculating things. They are much more adventurous than that, and are always travelling to exotic corners of the globe to watch distant nebulae through some of the world's most powerful telescopes." Given that they both also carry guns, they're clearly to astronomy what Indiana Jones was to archaeology.
  • She is not the Invisible Woman.
