Suicide button

World, my finger is on the button...push the button...the time has come to galvanize!

A suicide button is a device installed on the body of a Transformer. Pressing the suicide button will set off explosive charges located in each member of that Transformer's patrol, thereby ensuring their technologically advanced bodies will be unavailable for enemy examination.

Suicide buttons appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

When Thunderwing lured the Battle Patrol into a trap, Big Shot considered pushing his suicide button rather than let Micromaster technology fall into the hands of the Decepticons. Instead, Big Shot chose to fight it out and was captured.

When Emirate Xaaron heard the news, he gave the Race Car Patrol a bomb with orders to blow up the Decepticon complex and everyone in it, including the Battle Patrol. Roadhandler couldn't go through with it and rescued the Battle Patrol instead, even though Thunderwing had already stolen Micromaster technology.

The whole incident caused Xaaron to rethink his strategy of treating his troops as expendable pawns. He did not punish Roadhandler for disobeying orders. A Small War!
