Talk:Africa

Africa is never actually named in Beast Wars. I'm not sure if it was specifically named in ANY TF fiction. Uhhh... wasn't it where the Satellite of Doom crashed? If not, if nothing ever actually specifically talked about it, then this article should probably be deleted, as the whole point of our stuff is to be "in universe." --Thylacine 2000 22:30, 18 June 2009 (EDT)

Surely it must have been named in the Masterforce episode with Mister Ricky! -Derik 22:34, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
I mainly created this page because it was in the "wanted pages" list. There are already nine other places that link to "Africa" in this wiki. (And as for content, I faintly remember Carbombya being part of Africa, but I wasn't sure enough to include it in the article just yet).If it's really felt necessary, I suppose you could go ahead and remove the Beast Wars stuff from here... But personally, I'd like it to be conserved somehow, even if it was a note or trivia at the bottom of the page... I mean, sure it's not specifically stated it's Africa... Be we know it's on Earth, and there's only one continent on Earth it could be considering the wildlife present. --Ascendron 22:36, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
Let's start with confirmed references, and then we can loop in BW circumstantially ("the human race is destined to emerge from this valley!") afterwards. --Thylacine 2000 22:40, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
I thought the map of Earth seen in that one episode put the Axalon in Africa. -Derik 22:45, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
It's refered to by name in The Veiled Threat, seeing as how NEST travels there in the first encounter with the Decepticons. -- SFH 22:47, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
Rhinox's almighty fart in "The Low Road" clearly takes place somewhere in Africa, as the view from orbit shows. --abates 22:48, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
The only reason I started with Beast Wars is because it's the piece of fiction I'm most familiar with. I don't think there's any doubt in my mind that this article SHOULD exist though... I, as an individual, am just not equip to bring it up to par... But I had to start somewhere, you know? --Ascendron 22:51, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
And now this.... in Kenya, in northern Africs, a large stampede of wold animals attacked villages one by one, driving many people out.{{#if:|{{{quote2}}}}}{{#if:GMN newscaster"Panic! By the way, yes, Carbombia is explicitly stated to be located in Africa in Thief in the Night. --KilMichaelMcC 22:57, 18 June 2009 (EDT)

Also, Megatron's sun-draining device in "Changing Gears" was located in "the geographic center of Africa." - Jackpot 23:00, 18 June 2009 (EDT)

One of the Death Towers was in Egypt in the finale of The Headmasters, but I don't remember if Africa was named. -Mazenoise 07:01, 19 June 2009 (EDT)

Apropos of nothing, once we get a picture up, I propose the caption be something along the lines of "There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do." Hooper_X 20:00, 18 October 2009 (EDT)
