Talk:All Hail Megatron issue 9
Bumblebee and Drift
[edit]Bumblebee's being a real jerk the past few issues. All he seems to say is something negative about Drift. Which is annoying because we don't know what Drift has done to deserve criticism from the nice lovable kid friendly character. Why does the reader have to be the last to know these things? 90.241.216.15 06:28, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- because if we knew everything, what's the point in reading the comic? what's the point in releasing spotlight comics as well to supplement the blank spots?--Zi 09:44, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
Sideswipe's monologue
[edit]Something about it doesn't jive with me, him asking if they are better than the Decepticons. Forgetting for the moment it's McCarthy's backstory in mind, not Furman's, didn't previous storylines establish the Autobots were largely selflessly defending alien worlds against Decepticon infiltrators that were inciting global tensions to let the "natives wipe themselves out"? How does that make them the same as the Decepticons? The way Sideswipe is talking, it sounds like in AHM the Autobots and Decepticons just wandered around the galaxy using other worlds as their battlefields. It just doesn't work with what was previously established, in my opinion. --FFN 02:41, 18 April 2009 (EDT)
- Agreed, also up till this issue, Sideswipe was pretty much a warmonger. --MistaTee 04:32, 18 April 2009 (EDT)
So who helped Skywatch?
[edit]Spike's description of the secret weapon he was sent to find clearly indicates that it was based on Shockwave, who had been in Skywatch captivity for a time. It is unclear, however, who gave the engineers "outside help" to reduce the gun from house-sized to hand-held.
The later ongoing stories would seem to point to Swindle as the likely candidate... was this ever proven or disproven or whatever? -- Repowers (talk) 16:02, 14 December 2013 (EST)
