Talk:Artemis
Beast Wars Neo
[edit]- Should Artemis really be under "BWN Character"? Her appearance in the show was in the last episode during an ending credits montage. It was a "blink and you'll miss it" sort of thing. And if we do put her under BWN Characters, should I go ahead and put nearly all the cast of BWII under that category, too? All the surviving cast appeared in that montage. --DrSpengler 16:23, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- I was the one who put in the category; I'm pretty apathetic whether it's there or not. Feel free to take it out if you wanna. Interrobang 16:39, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Cool. I'm just gonna take it out for the sake of consistency. --DrSpengler 16:45, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Stuff
[edit]As long as I'm questioning source material... where do we have it from that Artemis is a Transformer? I was under the impression that she was some kind of observation android living within the moon of planet Gaea, which... would I guess make her a human creation, since RM LioConvoy's bio revealed that Gaea was future Earth.
(Whether it was specifically Earth at the time of the Beast Wars or if LioConvoy and crew had travelled even further into the future, I'm not sure.)
As to her presence on Cybertron at the end of Neo, uh. No idea. Cast party? --Monzo 01:53, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
This is totally fannon and not even a little bit supported in show, but I like to imagine she was another (lesser) member of Cybertron's pantheon along with Primus, the Chronarchitect, and Unicron. One of the light gods mentioned in the first PRimus origin. Sort of his little sister. Goes with the goddess name. But that's just my personal imagining.
In cannon, I wonder... since the BW2 world is future destroyed Earth and Bob and Larry speculated up the whole Vox destroyed earth and wipped it out, so the TFs made it off-limits stuff, maybe she was some sort of guardian/observer the TFs left behind to watch over the ruined place for them? Granted, that's all speculation TOO, just not quite as grandious as my prefered exp. :)
- It's nice that you have a personal continuity.
- Sadly, Artemis's presence as guardian of Gaea has nothign to do with the Vok wiping out humanity. Gaea's native population moved out among the stars and left Gaea when the Amogolis Energy their planet was infused with made it too difficult to continuine living there. -Derik 02:29, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
So humans abandoned Earth when Unicron's energy infected it. Wonder what the timeframe for that is. Could be that was why the MAx elders made the place off-limits? IT was infected by Unicron?
Unused joke potential...
[edit]Artmemis, the voluptuous female character, is deeply enamored with the tentacled alien... Goddammit Japan... When we get more screencaps, someone HAS to make a joke about this. It's too good to pass up. --Ascendron 21:49, 19 June 2009 (EDT)
Affiliation
[edit]I'm not sure the Predacon badge was all that appropriate - and a Maximal one might not be, either. So, would it be best just to use the Celestial one instead? --Nerroth 02:35, 16 March 2010 (EDT)
- The Predacon badge is right because she was listed as a Predacon in the game. A Celestial badge can be added to it, but not replace it. Geewunling 02:41, 16 March 2010 (EDT)
plus she likes starscream, who is a predacon
cartoon-only???
[edit]while she may have not appeared in the idw comics, she did appear in the manga, didn't she?
