Anyone know what word is censored at around 7.20, and why:

"Am I dreaming or is that subway ---- going about 100 miles too fast?" (Tracks)

Surely Tracks didn't just refer to the train as a "subway mofo" or something? (Maybe he said a brand name such as Amtrak)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.226.22.69 (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.

Probably a dialog change last minute-- it doesn't sound censored so much as it does cut off.
McFeely's Metrodome ADR scripts might have the original line. -Derik 13:37, 1 November 2009 (EST)

Incidentals

[edit]

As per the dialogue script:

Furg - covered.

Stylish man - covered.

Slinky woman - "Wanna dance?"

Madonna girl - "How 'bout it, shiny one?"

Foreman - "Stop them!"

Man - "Hey You two! Free passes to Dancitron!" and "It's an all-night party, man."

Doorman - "Hey! You can't--!"

Ahh! I wonder where everyone's been getting "Clothes Horse" from as a name for "Stylish man". It's used on both IMDB and the Cybertron Chronicle. --abates 14:28, 3 December 2009 (EST)
Presumably, Rikk made up an identifier for him on the Cybertron Chronicle, and someone from IMDB ganked it. --Monzo 18:18, 3 December 2009 (EST)
Ah! That would explain why neither of them have Rocksteady's voice actor credited (It's totally Buster Jones, isn't it?). "Madonna girl"... if they were aiming for Madonna, they missed by quite a bit. :) Thanks for the awesome info! --abates 03:10, 4 December 2009 (EST)

Quote from the Trivia Section:

One major plot point is that Tracks realises that there's something wrong when he
notices middle-aged housewives and fancy-dressed people at the club, but as the
Decepticons are hypnotising people with the music at the club, how did those people get
there in the first place in order to be hypnotised?

Reply from Tricob: Actually, they do supply an answer to all this. When the Decepticons (namely Starscream; he seems to be calling all the punches here) spot one or more humans they consider to be trouble for the club, those "troublemakers" are given free passes to Dancitron, where they're hypnotized, and supposedly no longer a threat. This was demonstrated with Raoul's two friends, and nothing in the episode seems to contradict it. This would also explain the odd pairing of club visitors that Tracks points out early in the episode. -- Tricob, (02/08/2010) 10:35 P.M. Central Time.

I don't see how giving out free passes would get people who wouldn't ordinarily go to a club to go to one, just because it's free. --abates 01:37, 16 February 2010 (EST)
Actually, it's let on early in the episode that many people did want to get in but couldn't, because they weren't fashionably "hip" enough. My apologies for the belated response, BTW.  :-) -- Tricob, (05/01/2010) 10:09 P.M. Central Time.

Starscream and Megatron seem to be on really good terms with each other here; they don't even raise their voices to one another in this episode. This was possibly due to character changes at the last minute, but probably still worth noting in the TF universe. Could lead to some interesting hypotheses. -- Tricob, (02/15/2010) 11:56 P.M. Central Time.

Starscream and Megatron did get on with each other when Screamer wasn't trying to undermine Meg's plans. See, for instance, Fire in the Sky, where the pair of them generally got on quite well together. --abates 01:37, 16 February 2010 (EST)
Heh - good point.  :-) -- Tricob, (05/01/2010) 10:09 P.M. Central Time.
Well I know the conclusion I drew was that Starscream and Soundwave had come up with some kind of second-job as a get-rich quick scheme of some sort that involved a real-estate scam that Megatron probably found clever when he found out about it. --68.226.22.69 15:18, 17 December 2011 (EST)
