I rather got the impression that Autobot Academy bypasses boot camp entirely, and is more akin to ROTC, the Naval Academy, etc.--Rosicrucian^Talk 17:01, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Well I'm also judging this by Ratchet. Ratchet has a very typical NCO attitude in his Great War days, and there does seem to be a line between the enlisted and the officers the Academy churns out. I have to agree with you last point Rosi about Ratchet having a much more NCO attitude which could imply that he went through basic training. But he had to become a medic through MOS rather than just being told to go there. But then again, I have to disagree with the first point you made. You can go through ROTC, but last time I checked you still have to go through basic and then ROTC before your handed your bars, etc. So could we put Ratchet, Sentinel, Elita, Optimus, and possibly Ultra Magnus down under the members?
