I was just going to make this edit, but it looks like there is no clear consensus here. Shouldn't this page be in the category "Planets" as well? Some planets that are clearly G1-only (eg Micro) are in Cat:Planets and not Cat:G1 Planets, some planets that are clearly NOT G1-only (eg Cybertron) are in both Cat:G1 Planets and Cat:Planets, and some planets that are G1-only (eg Mumu-Obscura) are in Cat:G1 Planets but not Cat:Planets.

If you just want to read about all the planets across TFdom, you're SOL. If no one objects in a timely fashion, I think I'm just going to add the Planets tags to every planet - or are we not supposed to have pages in both a category and its subcategory? If so, I think that really hurts functionality here. -LV 14:34, 15 June 2009 (EDT)

No, an article shouldn't be in both the category and subcategory. The subcategory is listed in the category, so you can find G1 planets. - Starfield 14:38, 15 June 2009 (EDT)
Okay. That sure is irritating; also, someone needs to fix quite a few category assignments then. -LV 14:40, 15 June 2009 (EDT)
To be more thorough: For example, since Cybertron shows up in multiple continuities, it really should be in just the Planets category (or at least, in multiple subcategories but not in the main one). Conversely, since this planet as of right now only shows up in a G1-based story, it should be in just the G1 category.
The idea is that if you start with the Planets category, you also would click on the sub-categories. And conversely, if you're in the G1 Planets category, you can click on the Planets category at the bottom to go back a level. Putting anything in both a main and sub-category would be redundant.
So yeah, I guess there are some category assignments that need fixing. --Jeysie 14:45, 15 June 2009 (EDT)
Micro is not G1. It is Victory and Zone. Cybertron is in both G1 planets and planets because it is a G1 planet, but not unique to G1. —Interrobang 14:53, 15 June 2009 (EDT)
That'd work a lot better if you didn't have to click on every single subcategory to see its contents. Right now, I agree with LV -- it's very annoying to see twenty subcategories but not their contents. Is there an option to have those auto-expanded? -- Repowers 15:34, 15 June 2009 (EDT)
