Bear with me please

It's probably going to take me forever to write up a whole article about, as it's long, boring, and pretty unrewarding. Me and my sibling are currently working together to play through this thing, by having one of us taking notes while the other plays, so it's not like I can just check out stuff on-demand about it either (there's no way I'm tackling this thing by myself). I also don't have any video capture devices, so pictures won't be around for even longer than the summary. Any help would be really welcomed, especially if anyone better with computers and whatnot can get screen caps, or find out if any of the nameless units have names in the game code or something?
