Talk:Beast Wars Returns
I feel that simply having a redirect to Beast Machines is denying Beast Wars Returns its due. There is no info on the three BM pages (main, toyline, and cartoon) about this Japanese release. The amount of time that passes between the Hasbro and Takara releases is noteworthy, as are the many redecoed toys. Even just a brief entry stating the changes from BM would be enough. But NO information AT ALL? It's distinct enough to have its own entry, or at least a section on the BM pages. --Crockalley 13:02, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Then make a section. Interrobang 13:18, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, man. Your complaint is kind of ridiculous. If information isn't present, ADD IT. That's what we're HERE for. --ItsWalky 17:58, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- I was responding to Interrobang's deletion of information in this article and redirecting it to BM. I DID put info here, but Interrobang GOT RID of it. That's when I started this TALK PAGE. I can shout, too. Check the history of this article before you assume I'm being ridiculous. --Crockalley 21:13, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- The point is you're not supposed to put info HERE, on "Beast Wars Returns", but at "Beast Machines". Interrobang was wrong to delete it and not also move it to where it's appropriate. --ItsWalky 21:22, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Reopening the wound
[edit]Since the above conversation took place in 2006, both Beast Wars (Japanse franchise) and Beast Wars Metals (franchise) have gotten their own individual articles separate from the Western articles. Should Beast Wars Returns now get its own franchise article to complete the set? --DrSpengler 12:16, 20 October 2009 (EDT)
- Vote for agree based on Beast Wars (Japanese franchise) and Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers (franchise). --TX55TALK 12:26, 20 October 2009 (EDT)
- I dunno..Beast Wars, Metals and F!SRLT have mangas and video games and stuff. BWR is just some redecoed toys and the same TV series as in the West. -Mazenoise 12:33, 20 October 2009 (EDT)
- I think the same thing could be said of RID. Redecoed toys and same TV series as Japan. Only difference is RID got a few pages in the DW Summer Spectacular. --Tigerpaw28 16:44, 20 October 2009 (EDT)
