Talk:Blaster (G1)
"Blaster is so awesome he could not exist on this wiki until there was a feature-pic of him in his Marvel character model." You do realize that's not his Marvel character model, right? --ItsWalky 06:05, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- It's closer than the damn Titan graphic novel. -Derik 06:06, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- No, it's pretty much his cartoon model, down to the coloring. --ItsWalky 06:07, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- squints* ...shit. I thought that x-treme blue glow on the eyes was actually a glass visor over his eyes.
- ....it's still nto a bad picture. -Derik 06:09, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- What about the Umbral Blaster? -Derik 15:01, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- I believe that would go under, you know, Umbral Blaster. That would call for a diambig tag at most. --ItsWalky 15:15, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- Okie-day! What're we callign the StarTV dubs
anyway? I knwo there's a more correct name for them... -Derik 15:20, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
I'd just like to compliment Human Being Unit #75.18.172.98 on the Airplane! reference. Good show. --DrSpengler 03:40, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Thank you. I couldn't resist that one for some reason. - Ithekro
EJK?
[edit]Is that really the name of the testing facility? Double-checking with the synopsis at Cybertron Chronicle, that appears to be the name of the airport where Spike and company pick up Sparkplug.--Apcog 06:18, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, EJK is another facility. -Derik 06:30, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I had to sit there watching all of these episodes to write that. After the scene transition symbol thing, we see a big sign that says EJK ENTRANCE ------>, the shot pans across to show some hanger-like buildings behind a fence and a large, futuristic-looking building. The only word I noticed at the airport itself is HANGER. --FFN 06:35, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- More to the point- when Bumblebee, at the airport, calls for help, Optimus Prime and company (at EJK) are too far away, and have him contact headquarters for backup instead. Ergo- they are different locations. -Derik 07:12, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- He was asking if EJK was really the name of the facility, not if they are different locations. --FFN 07:25, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

- Fair enough. Rik slipped up rather uncharacteristically. A trivia note on the episode's page about this being an in-joke using the initials of writer Earl J. Kress might be in order. Oh, and someone's GOT to get a screen grab of Sparkplug in a suit.--Apcog 08:05, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'll do it, but I would really like for us to work on all the cartoon sections we have for the G1 characters, since they're in such bad shape. For a fairly important human character, Sparkplug's is unusually short and vague. I don't know how the hell Ratchet managed to be a featured article considering his cartoon section amounted to a brief description of what he was like, rather than what he actually did. --FFN 09:36, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

The Return of Optimus Prime Part 2
[edit]Did he died from the Hate plague?(MARV 2000 23:49, 10 March 2008 (UTC))
Duplicates
[edit]We now have both Blaster and Blaster (G1), probably as a result of the database crash. I'm having a hard time figuring out which changes from which page to incorporate into the other. But I'm pretty sure we want the page to be at Blaster (G1), due to the disambig note at the top. --Martonimos 23:28, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
- ...on second thought, Blaster seems to be based on a severely outdated version of the page. --Martonimos 23:35, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
- Blaster should indeed be at Blaster (G1), because there's a Blaster (Shattered Glass) existing in official TF fiction now. I'm pretty sure this was made into a redirect to Blaster (G1). --Jeysie 23:39, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
Device label
[edit]The December 19 page says this was released this year, this page says it was canceled. Which is correct? Khajidha 13:48, 20 December 2009 (EST)
Toy Issue
[edit]Okay, I'm not sure where else to ask this. Has there been any reported issues with the Blaster toy, in which the handle cover doesn't slide. It seems to be the case with the SDCC reissue, but maybe it's just my specific figure.Riddlerj 20:14, 4 August 2010 (EDT)
- I had a bit of problem with my SDCC release, but after some fiddling I got the handle cover to slide. It certainly doesn't move as easily as with earlier versions.
- I didn't have a problem with mine. --ItsWalky 23:37, 8 September 2010 (EDT)
Extra pic
[edit]Not sure if we need this anymore. Oddly, we don't seem to have a picture of the cover it was originally cropped from! --Monzo 18:47, 19 December 2010 (EST)

Micro Change pre-Blaster vs. Twincast
[edit]According to http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Micro_Change
MC-21 Radi-Cassette Robo
The toy came in either blue or red. The red deco was used for Blaster.
Any idea if the blue one was repurposed as Twincast, or inspired Twincast? 70.17.204.21 02:08, 31 July 2011 (EDT)
- Neither is an exact deco-match for either TF version, so I'd say it's mostly coincidence, or a loosely causal relationship--Destrongerlupus 17:30, 20 May 2013 (EDT)
Small Change to Microchange portion of toy info
[edit]The existing text refered to the toy coming with a "set" of "earphones" which could be integrated into his gun. I have the microchange version, headphone and all, and it is very much a single-bud mono-phone. Which only makes sense with the gun design feature if you think about it, there's only one hole to have the earpiece insert into. --Destrongerlupus 17:30, 20 May 2013 (EDT)
Titan Wars/Titans Return
[edit]Edited Blaster's entry here. He's a Leader class, not a Titan!
- Thank you! No need to make a topic for changes like that though, you can use the "Summary" textbox to explain your edits as you do them. (It's the narrow text box that appears seperately from the text box you put content in as you edit things.) Also, don't forget to sign your posts when you make one on a "Talk" page. (put four "~" in a row after your text). --Ascendron (talk) 13:00, 9 October 2015 (EDT)
- Question: "Titans Return/Titan Wars." Is that a thing? Hasn't the name now been announced as "Titans Return"? So there's not actually any such thing as "Titan Wars" anymore, right? --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 13:19, 9 October 2015 (EDT)
