I think I got it all. Probably needs some better formatting, and definitely needs a bunch of images.
In order to avoid cluttering the page with more stuff that's outside the scope of what I intend to cover here: This page is intended for any of these "purchase figure X or Y amount of toys or attend event X on day Z" promotional items. Restaurant promotions already have their own page and don't need to be repeated here.
I don't consider figures that were available as pack-in items with magazines or books to belong on this page either. The difference is that those pack-ins were automatically available with said publication, and the production run was directly tied to the production run of the publication. Simply put, if you were to purchase a specific magazine or book, you would have been guaranteed to receive the included figure. Conversely, the "campaign items" this page is about were of the "only as long as supplies last" variety, and you'd have no guarantee of receiving anything if you were SOL.--Nevermore (talk) 12:08, 16 June 2021 (EDT)
