Talk:Chaar
Where does the spelling for this come from? Dreamwave's More Than Meets The Eye spells it Charr. --63.203.180.99 16:30, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
- The original G1 episode scripts. --KilMichaelMcC 16:56, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
- Is that it? Don't we usually count published, publicly-accessible works over behind-the-scenes stuff? --63.203.180.99 17:14, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
- As I recall (not having the issue), The Big Broadcast of 2006 comic adaptation spelled it the right way, Chaar, yeeeeears ago. - Chris McFeely 17:19, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
- Yup, just checked, it's indeed spelled Chaar in that terrible, terrible issue. -Mazenoise 17:24, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
- Cool, thanks! --63.203.180.99 17:50, 11 June 2009 (EDT)

Dream Wave
[edit]Did Dream Wave really spell it "Charr" (if so, why is it on this page) or is that a typo? Khajidha 01:47, 28 December 2009 (EST)
Revenge of the Fallen
[edit]Does one of the adaptions say the Nemesis is crashed on Chaar? Because the storylink should point there instead of the film if so. --abates 21:31, 30 October 2013 (EDT)
Cartoon images
[edit]1) We really need some screencaps from FFOD. 2) Didn't Chaar look different almost every time we saw it? I get the impression that there was never a model for Chaar, so the artists just used whatever planet image they had lying around for reference - hence the current main pic looks like Cybertron because it probably IS Cybertron. To me, it feels weird putting it up and saying "this is what Chaar looks like". -- Repowers 04:31, 4 November 2013 (EST)
- From what I can tell, virtually every establishing shot of the planet was just of the one city. The shot from Burden was the only time they used a view of the whole planet which suggests they didn't have an established model for the whole planet. I guess it'd be better to use a shot of the city then! --abates 05:07, 4 November 2013 (EST)
