Title

[edit]

Is "Steel City" really different enough from "City of Steel" to warrant listing? The two are entirely equivalent in English and the choice of which form to use would seem to be due to personal preference of the translator. Khajidha 01:14, 26 June 2009 (EDT)

"スチールシティ" reads "su-chii-ru-shi-ti", or "Steel City". There is no room for preference or adjustment. Katakana doesn't work that way. It's rendering the English words "steel" and "city" into the Japanese sound structure. If it had used words like 鋼 ("hagane", Japanese for "steel") or 都会 ("tokai", Japanese for "city") there might be a case. But even then, we'd include the Japanese title even if it directly translated into "City of Steel" so as to make the Japanese spelling of the title and it's roomaji equivalent available. We're informative like that. --DrSpengler 01:22, 26 June 2009 (EDT)

Leftover errors

[edit]

I couldn't find these previously listed errors:

  • At one point, Megatron's helmet appears in white rather than grey, giving the impression that he is wearing a white wig. Earlier in the episode, his face and helmet are both coloured in the same shade of dark grey.
  • The Empire State Building is depicted as far too small in relation to the Transformers in several scenes.

If they're gonna go back in, the scenes need to be specified a lot more clearly. (that goes for a lot eps, actually. There's far too many "In one scene" errors in our G1 eps.) -- Repowers 20:23, 5 September 2009 (EDT)

Megatron's hair being "white" is the same shot as Soundwave's red cannon, though it looks like they actually just coloured his face a dark gray. --abates 22:41, 5 September 2009 (EDT)

Mixmaster

[edit]

...oh, you're thinking of "Get it, get it, huh?", aren't you. That's not his speech quirk. That's just a cackling gleeful excited evil guy. His (annoying) quirk is repeating the first syllable or two of a word three times. "Auto auto autobots!" -- Repowers 22:21, 14 December 2009 (EST)

error?

[edit]

In this episode Ratchet says that the largest city in north America is New York City but the real largest city is Mexico City. Is this considered an error?--Wwelord 07:23, 10 December 2011 (EST)

North America is often used in contrast to Latin America (or to Central/Middle and South America) in such a way as to only include the US and Canada. Whether this is a correct usage or not, it does exist. Even in Spanish, Americans and Canadians are often referred to as "Norteamericanos". --Khajidha 10:34, 10 December 2011 (EST)

Megatron's Blue Communication Button

[edit]

He does actually hit it, just not the big one. He has two buttons, as far as I can tell, a big one and a small one to the lower left. He pushes the small one when talking in this episode, not the big one. Now, this may just be on the Shout! Factory release, which is all I have, so I'm not changing the article yet. If someone could check the originals, if that's even possible, we can determine for sure. I just realized I forgot my signature.--Oshenwave (talk) 17:54, 2 September 2020 (EDT)
