Is this article really necessary? Seems rather TVTropes-y and not in the good way. --Detour 13:14, 20 February 2012 (EST)

I'd say it's a little too much of a dictionary entry. There's too many episodes/seasons that end this way, and there's not much to say about them that is TF centric. I vote that we delete it. --Khajidha 13:24, 20 February 2012 (EST)
That's why I only use "Notable examples" instead of putting all of it into the article, which is I'm against. --TX55TALK 20:27, 20 February 2012 (EST)
Yeah, but what's the point? How is this uniquely Transformersy? Transformers media also sometimes employs, I dunno, In Media Res, should we make an article for that? I vote deletion.--Jimsorenson 20:55, 20 February 2012 (EST)
Just like to know (in order to avoid creating another argument next time), how do we determine whether a Media article is okay to be created on TFwiki? Such as clip show, animation error or Introdump, which are also seen in other franchise? --TX55TALK 21:24, 20 February 2012 (EST)
Looking at the existing pages, it seems like the criterion is "Is it an aspect that is mentioned by the fandom or other people a lot?" The original series is notorious for errors, the clip shows get mentioned a lot, Marvel is notorious for its infodumps, etc.
In contrast, I don't think TF has cliffhangers that are considered particularly notable in any way. --74.70.240.165 06:20, 21 February 2012 (EST)
So, in short (or other word?), something like "it has to be mentioned frequently or highly recognized by fandom"? --TX55TALK 06:44, 21 February 2012 (EST)
