Talk:Co-branding

Here are the rules for what constitutes co-branding and what doesn't: 1) If it's a sub-set (with its own name and logo) of another line, it's not co-branding yet. If the same sub-set is also used for another line and keeps the same name, and still has its own logo (regardless of whether the logo is redesigned or not), it's co-branding. 2) If it's start out as its own line independent of another line, and then toys are branded as part of both lines on the same packaging, it's co-branding.

So Legends Class doesn't count because it doesn't have its own logo. Had Cyberverse been a DOTM-only thing, it wouldn't be co-branding either. Co-branding requires at least two different toys being branded as Y, with toy A also being branded as part of line X and toy B not branded as part of line X.--Nevermore (talk) 06:23, 17 May 2014 (EDT)
