Talk:Cybertronian (faction)

It's possible the symbol has a common cultural meaning that would cause two disconnected groups of Decepticons expatriates to gravitate towards it.

Definately a cool idea, since we've seen lots of "Symbols" around cybertron (especially in modern comics) it's be kinda cool if they all had their own implications. (We should have a page of them all, if we don't already) Of course it's also possible that Bludgeon and co. adopted it as a cover. I mean they were probably a lot less likely to get attacked in space if people thought they were part of the big bad empire. ZacWilliam 11:16, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

Make a faction symbol page. I've got raw clean-ups of almsot everything handy, uncluding fun/cool variants. It's way easier to add to/revise an existign page than to scratchbuild one with organization/intro blurb.-Derik 11:22, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

As was brought up by Jhi in #wiigii!, "Cybertronians" is what Megatron called this faction. Jhiaxus called himself and his folks Decepticons, though he also states that they outgrew the terms Decepticons and Autobots. I think this article needs to be more Decepticonny and less Cybertronianny. --ItsWalky 06:09, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
We gave up the word Decepticons eons of your years ago. We are now... DECEPTICONS. --M Sipher 06:10, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Linkage issues.

[edit]

As it stands, every linking of the word "Cybertronian" goes here, and most of the links are inappropriate. Personally, I think it would be better if we moved this page to Cybertronian Empire and had the redirect for the main name point to Cybertronian (disambiguation).--Rosicrucian 17:54, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Cybertronian (empire) or Cybertronian (faction) would be easier to link to. You can use pipe-magic. [[Cybertronian (faction)|]] auto-formats to Cybertronian. I think that should be a consideration for something that's goign to show up in the italicized disambgs @ the top of articles. -Derik 19:47, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
