Might have to ask Roberts for confirmation, but from the look of things I have to wonder if Rung's final holomatter avatar, not the one that was on the cover, was actually intended to be him. On the subject of the cover avatars, I kind of wonder if Skids' avatar on the cover is a miscoloured Tenth Doctor avatar, and the Eleven avatar in the interior is a different expression of the same joke.
